'Self portrait with a yellow shirt' is a finalist in the Portia Geach memorial award

After the intense lockdown in Melbourne, I escaped to Dijon in France to paint. During that time, I gave myself permission to play, with materials and paint, to have fun, to dream and play. I needed it. I have always used myself as a subject for my work to improve hand eye coordination and this was one of the works which I completed there.
