Angoisse II a finalist in the 2021 Muswellbrook art prize

I was inspired to make this work after viewing Egon Schiele's paintings whilst based in my studio in Dijon (hence the French title for Anguish). I wanted to portray the feeling of mental & physical pain that surrounds our outwardly normal lives. No more so than during this time of Covid.
